Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov painted a picture of a divided West, contrasting European “craziness” with Donald Trump’s “understanding” of the Ukraine war.
Alipov claimed Trump “understands that this war is lost by Ukraine and the West,” while European nations “continue with their belligerence.”
He labeled the European belief in a Russian defeat as “childish” and “unprofessional,” adding “there is no chance” it will happen.
The ambassador’s confidence, he explained, is based on Russia’s nuclear capabilities, which prevent it from being “taken over.”
He also cited Russia’s “existential threat” doctrine as the formal policy that makes this a “possibility” in the nearly four-year-long war.
